Remote Determination of Sulfur Content in Marine Fuel
A novel technique developped by Telops aims at providing rapid and accurate measurements of sulfur content in fuel oil by simply imaging the ship’s exhaust plume. In this webinar, see how the Hyper-Cam, an advanced passive infrared hyperspectral camera can not only detect and identify the unique spectral features of SO2 but even retrieve the SO2 concentration within the ship’s exhaust plume and from that, derive the fuel’s sulfur content.
